Marine Operations

Full-cycle engineering and management of marine operations: 61 jackets and 57 topsides installed offshore

Company-managed marine spread with access to specialised vessels for each operation: transportation and installation barges, crane vessels of up to 280 t, a cable-lay vessel and anchor-handling tugs. We develop method statements, perform stability and seafastening calculations, agree procedures with an independent Marine Warranty Surveyor and run the operation from load-out to installation and handover to the client. Operating areas: the Caspian, the Baltic and the Barents Sea.

  • Transportation of offshore structures — marine transportation concept, stability and seakeeping analysis, seafastening design, selection of the transportation spread, operation support.
  • Ballasting and deballasting — ballast plan calculations, control of draught, trim and stability, procedures for floating bases, semi-submersibles and dock barges.
  • Positioning — design of anchor mooring and dynamic positioning (DP) schemes, analysis of interaction with mooring systems, real-time positioning control.
  • Pile driving — pile installation and driving procedures, driveability analysis, wave-equation analysis of driving (GRLWEAP), monitoring of results.
  • Seabed fixing of structures — design of holding and fixing systems, load analysis, quality control of subsea rigging works.
  • Jacket launching — full engineering support: launch analysis and calculation of separation dynamics from the launch barge, analysis of the jacket’s motion in water, control of flooding of buoyancy compartments, support of upending and set-down on the seabed.
  • Float-over — concept and detailed procedure for installation of topsides on the jacket: barge entry analysis, design of load-transfer and shock-absorption systems (LMU/DSU), hydrodynamic analysis of hull–structure interaction, real-time operation control.
  • Heavy lifts with crane vessels — operating procedures, rigging calculations, definition of weather windows, engineering support of the lift.
  • Offshore survey and positioning verification — instrumental control of installation with modern positioning systems (USBL, LBL, DGPS).

Our track record

Our capability is proven by dozens of marine operations on the company’s offshore projects, including:

This experience allows us to take responsibility not only for the calculation but for the result of the operation offshore.

Why clients choose us

Our approach combines detailed engineering analysis, long practical experience on offshore projects and strict risk management. A team of professionals provides continuous technical supervision at every stage — from pre-FEED studies and tender support to the final operation report.

We ensure that every solution is technically justified, code-compliant and safe to execute. One engineering team supports the operation from calculation to handover — which reduces the risk of spread downtime and gives the client a single point of responsibility at every stage.
