As part of the development of the D33 field on the Baltic Sea shelf, CNGS Engineering provided project management and the full cycle of marine operations for the transportation and installation of Wellhead Platform-1 — an ice-resistant fixed offshore platform.

The scope of work comprised detailed engineering, relocation of the transportation and installation fleet, loadout and transportation of the jacket and piles, launching of the jacket by the Launching method, pile driving through the jacket sleeves, and installation of the topside by the Float-over method with subsequent offshore hook-up works.

Key stages of work:

Project management and detailed engineering;

Installation of the jacket by ballasting the buoyancy tanks with their subsequent removal;

Relocation of the transportation and installation barges Yuri Kuvykin and TB6000, as well as the Liebherr TCC 14000-400 D crane, along the Astrakhan — Kaliningrad route;

Transportation of the piles with offshore transfer onto the Yuri Kuvykin barge, pile driving through the jacket sleeves and their securing by grouting;

Modification of the TB6000 barge to perform the jacket launching operation by the Launching method;

Transportation and installation of the topside onto the jacket by the Float-over method;

Survey of the platform installation area, loadout of the jacket and piles from the construction yard onto the transportation and installation barges;

Offshore hook-up works.

Transportation of the jacket to the installation site and its launching by the Launching method;
